Since November 2009 KfW and OeEB have arranged a credit line as well as technical assistance for Sekerbank. The project’s focus is capacity building in energy efficiency measures of SMEs and households.

Sekerbank is one of Türkiye’s most important private banks specialized in financing of energy efficiency projects.

In April 2014, the effectiveness of KfW's and OeEB's credit line and technical support were evaluated. The results were summarized in a report.
