Renewable Energy
- 4,375 MW newly installed power generation capacity from renewable sources
- 7,384 GWh power produced from renewable sources
- 580,000 people provided with clean energy through our direct investments
- 25% of OeEB's projects made a main contribution to SDG 7
Financial inclusion / Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME)
- 353,542 people employed in projects and companies financed by OeEB (excl. funds)
- 291,258 MSMEs reached with OeEB financing
- 53% of OeEB's projects made a main contribution to SDG 8
Infrastructure
- 16% of OeEB's projects made a main contribution to SDG 9
Climate Protection
- EUR 668 million / 41% of OeEB's portfolio invested in climate-relevant projects
- 3.77 million tons of CO2 emissions avoided through projects supported by OeEB (0.29 million tons OeEB's share - attributed).
- 38% of OeEB's projects made a main contribution to SDG 13
Gender Equality

EUR 127 million of OeEB's portfolio contributed to women's economic empowerment
- 401,423 / 35.1% of people employed in OeEB's projects are women
- 6.9% of OeEB's projects made a main contribution to SDG 5
Africa & Least Developed Countries
- 22.5% of our portfolio is currently invested in Africa
- 16% of our portfolio is currently invested in LDCs
Capacity Building
- 31 companies and financial institutions were supported directly with technical assistance
- 113 people have been trained in these programmes
Mobilisation
- EUR 75.28 million mobilised from the private sector
