In December 2018, OeEB signed a loan agreement in the amount of EUR 10 million with the Bosnian AS Group. The funds will be used to finance new production capacity and energy efficiency investments. For the introduction and certification of an environmental and social management system at AC Food - part of AS Holding - OeEB provides additional funds for technical assistance.

The Capacity Building Project will ensure compliance with international environmental and social standards and increase economic sustainability. The project includes the implementation and certification of an environmental management system (according to ISO 14 001) and an occupational health and safety management system (according to ISO).
The objective is the long-term existence of the company, but also the safeguarding of existing jobs and the creation of new – and secure – jobs. The capacity building project is accompanied by the consultant Top Consult Grupa (Croatia). The ISO certification was carried out by TÜV Croatia.
