In December 2015, OeEB signed a long-term credit line of USD 15 million to AccessBank Azerbaijan. The funds will be dedicated to the financing of local micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME).

The credit line gives micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in less developed rural regions of Azerbaijan access to financing and thus enables them to undertake investments. This contributes to securing and creating jobs and supports the country's further economic development.
AccessBank is the leading microfinance institution in Azerbaijan and an important partner of OeEB. Already in 2010 and 2013 OeEB provided long-term credit lines to AccessBank Azerbaijan for supporting local MSMEs.
