With USD 4 million, OeEB participates in Dolma Impact Fund, a fund which contributes to the economic development in Nepal. Immediately after the earthquake, founder and fund manager Tim Gocher started a call for donations for the victims.
Dolma Impact Fund provides capital and expertise to small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Nepal. The fund's focus sectors include renewable energy, healthcare, education and eco-tourism.
In addition, the education of children from mountainous regions has always been important to Tim Gocher. For many years he has been supporting aid organisations in Nepal with donations. Gocher, who lives in Kathmandu with his family, experienced the earthquake himself and immediately started a call for donations for the victims.
