The limited access to finance is one of the greatest barriers in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ghana. In order to strengthen the private sector and to create jobs the government therefore focuses on supporting SME.
Fidelity Bank Ghana is among the leading banks in Ghana and offers a wide range of financial services. The bank's innovative approaches – e.g. regarding mobile banking or agency banking – as well as its wide network contribute to improving access to financial products, also in remote areas. Via the Fidelity Business Academy the bank also provides trainings for customers and interested businesses.
OeEB's credit line enables Fidelity Bank Ghana to extend its SME operations and thus contributes to improving SMEs' access to finance, strengthening the private sector and creating jobs.
