Infrastructure development plays an important role in the further development of Sub-Saharan Africa. The most significant deficits exist in the energy sector, transport infrastructure and road network. However, there is insufficient finance available for improving the infrastructure situation.
OeEB's credit line to AFC contributes to reducing this financing gap. AFC provides financing for infrastructure projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and this way contributes to the region's economic development.
