The Republic of Austria has earmarked special budgetary resources for activities that are used for a wide spread of programmes supporting projects in all their different phases. Projects, featuring interesting aspects with respect to their developmental significance for a country / region / sector or the like, shall be supported with these resources in a purposeful and concrete manner. The allocation of these AP funds shall be linked to projects that offer financing opportunities now or in the near future.
Utilisation
The financial support provided through Advisory Programmes can be in the field of identifying, preparing and implementing projects or their assessment and monitoring. It is however also used for measures that accompany investments, such as trainings, energy audits, health care and others. Further examples are sector- and project-related studies, the provision of engineering expertise, capacity building and skills transfer. The overall goal of the utilisation of AP funds is to support and enhance the local impact on sustainable development of the projects of OeEB.
