OeEB and SREI Infrastructure Finance Ltd. have signed an agreement for a long term loan of EUR 15 million to finance infrastructure projects in India.
In view of the huge investment requirement in the infrastructure sector in India the increased involvement of the private sector as well as the availability of long term financing - such as OeEB will provide - is essential.
SREI is one of the leading private financing institutes in the infrastructure sector in India. Their business activities are focused - among other things - on the financing of projects in the energy sector (including renewable energy projects), port and road projects.
