Support of “The Rating Initiative” through co-financing of ratings of microfinance institutions (MFIs).
Aim of project
“The Rating Initiative” supports MFIs in particular by co-financing social ratings well as combined financial and social ratings. The MFIs can subsequently enter financing cooperations with OeEB.
Through the Rating Initiative OeEB supports MFIs to be more transparent in reporting on achieving their financial as well as social mission. This helps MFIs to improve their achievement of objective, attract investors and demonstrate their financial and social achievements.
Project status
The contract was signed in September 2009. The Rating Initiative will be operating for three more years.
