Investment into the „First Loss Tranche“ of an Investment Funds for Southeast Europe
EFSE pursues a developmental mandate in providing financial products to SMEs and private households. The Development Bank of Austria (OeEB) has also invested into the A („Senior“) and B („Mezzanin“)-Tranche of EFSE.
Aim of the project
Due to the investment of the Development of Austria (OeEB) into the C-Tranche, the Austrian contribution that has already been made by the Austrian Development Agency (ADA) will be enhanced and furthermore new private investment (PPP approach) into EFSE and thus financing opportunities for SMEs in the regions will be leveraged.
