Supporting the buildup of Access Bank Tajikistan.
After its creation, the newly established bank could start a financing partnership with OeEB.
Aim of project
OeEB together with EBRD, IFC and KfW establish the preconditions necessary for the creation of Access Bank Tajikistan. The bank, with its 16 planned branch offices outside the capital Dushanbe, shall improve access to capital for micro- and small enterprises and contribute to the development of the financial sector as a whole in the country. A particular focus will be put on recording remittance flows.

The contract was signed in July 2009.
