The Electrification Financing Initiative, ElectriFI, invites interested parties to submit their project proposals from 1-28 February 2017.
A major barrier to investments in access to energy in developing countries is the lack of access to capital. ElectriFI is a financing scheme that bridges the gaps in structuring and financing, stimulating the private sector, and mobilising financiers.
ElectriFI's mission is to grow viable businesses and projects that create new connections to affordable, reliable and sustainable energy in developing and emerging markets. ElectriFI is open to receiving investment proposals from 1-28 February 2017.
More information on ElectriFI including its investment criteria and guidelines and online application form can be found on www.electrifi.org.
